An Evening with Clare Presland
Sunday 29th January 2016
Deemed a ‘major young artist with the potential to make an international impact,’ Bury St Edmunds born Clare Presland won the Chilcott Award in 2014. Clare regularly performs with ENO, and she made her Royal Opera House debut in 2014 returning earlier in the year for the world premiere of 4.48 Psychosis by Philip Venables.
On Sunday 29th January, Clare takes a break from her busy operatic career to return to Bury St Edmunds for an evening to perform her favourite operatic arias, as a fundraising event to support the Theatre Royal.
The Angel Hotel are offering a pre-show, two course, dinner for £20 a head and, following the recital, drinks with Clare in the Wingspan Bar, located in the 12th Century vault under the hotel, at £10 each.
