Suffolk's Summer Sounds
Suffolk is playing host to a number of live music events this summer, including shows from a range of big stars. Find out who, what, where and when below:
No other music venue offers such good value and combines so much entertainment. The evening starts with exciting horse racing action, followed by a concert as part of their incredible 2017 line up.
International stars Little Mix will be starting things off on the 23rd June, followed by a legendary show from The Jacksons to support their 50th Anniversary Tour on the 30th June. The line up continues with shows from Culture Club (21st July), James (4th August), Chase & Status (11th August) and Olly Murs (18th August), before chart-topper Jess Glynn performs the last show as part of Summer Saturday Live.

Forest Live is an annual British music festival organised by the Forestry Commission. The events are hosted in seven forest venues throughout the United Kingdom, as part of an initiative to bring new audiences into forests, and encourage people to see their woodlands. In Suffolk, we're fortunate enough to have Thetford Forest who will be playing host to 4 exciting shows over 4 days.
Starting off with one of the country's biggest bands Elbow on Thursday 29th June, before Olly Murs takes to the stage on Friday 30th June with special guest Louisa Johnson. 80's legend Rick Astley will continue the party on Saturday 1st July, before Clean Bandit finish things off on the Sunday.

Sir Elton John live in Ipswich
Ipswich Town will welcome back Sir Elton John this June when the pop icon appears in concert again at Portman Road. The music megastar will visit on Saturday 17th June as part of his worldwide Wonderful Crazy Night Tour, with Elton taking to the stage to perform songs from his latest studio album as well as smash hits from his stellar career. His last visit to the stadium was in 2004, with over 23,000 fans turning out to watch three hours of his greatest hits.

Latitude Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Henham Park, near Southwold. It was first held in July 2006 and is said to be more similar to continental European festivals; as well as a comprehensive bill of musicians, bands and artists across four stages, the festival comprises elements of theatre, dance, film, cabaret and literature.
This year sees one of the world's biggest bands, Mumford and Sons, headlining the Saturday evening with The 1975, Fatboy Slim, Placebo, Fleet Foxes and Katherine Jenkins amongst the other performers across the 3 day festival.

Jimmy’s Farm Festival
Jimmy's Doherty's farm plays host to the festival each summer, featuring live entertainment, street food and children’s activities across the 2 day event. This year sees some household names taking to the stage, with KT Tunstall, Scouting For Girls, Matt Cardle, and Chas & Dave amongst the acts performing.

Michael Ball & Alfie Boe at Euston Hall
Following the success of their Platinum-selling album 'Together' and 29 sold out shows across the UK in 2016, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe have announced that they will return for a summer concert series in 2017.
Euston Hall, just outside Thetford, are proud to bring these two giants of the British stage to perform in an outdoor concert on Saturday the 24th of June.
